The APCJJ, a consultative body that brings together key stakeholders from over 20 countries, aims to establish a Centre of Excellence for the development of juvenile justice in the Asia-Pacific Region, and to assist the significant justice reforms that are underway. In particular, Council’s members strive to call attention on the rights of children in conflict with the law, witnesses or victims of crime, or at risk of being caught up in the cycle of violence, and to address their necessities with a child-friendly approach.
